While you're wetting a hook enjoy her spectacular scenery with many species of plants and wildlife, including wading birds, ospreys, bald eagles, deer, hogs, turkey and alligators. Much of the lakeshore is part of the Lake Talquin State Forest and remains in a natural state offering miles of nearby hiking, horseback, and biking trails.
